The Vauxhall Victor is a large family car produced by Vauxhall from 1957 until 1976. The Victor was introduced to replace the outgoing Wyvern model.

The Vauxhall VXR220 was equipped with larger brakes, upgraded tyres and lowered suspension, and tuned to produce 220 hp (223 PS; 164 kW). Other features included further performance-oriented seats and unique Speedline alloy wheels .

Always well-priced it offered reasonable performance, economy, and practicality to the mass market. Styles varied quite considerably over the years moving from the American influence of rear fins with the Victor FA to the boxy shapes of the FB and FC series.
