  1. Oculus Rift CV1 is still great in early 2023 : r/virtualreality - Reddit

Feb 3, 2023 · This game was also the reason I upgraded from CV1 because cockpit instruments were unreadable and it was very hard to spot things. Now I play H3VR, FO4, Hitman, Skyrim, Green Hell. Mostly open world games where CV1 is also not very good because stuff far away from you is extremely blurry.

  2. Rift CV1 user, extremely impressed by PSVR : r/PSVR - Reddit

Oct 21, 2016 · User experience: Sony makes full use of the console-ness of the setup, everything is built straight into the OS, and it just works. I didn't have too much difficulty with Rift either, but it still falls way behind when I think about USB/GPU/OS/Runtime …

  3. Seeing as Sony is "recycling" PS Move, what are the odds Touch …

Apr 11, 2016 · The comparison is valid in that the Move is Sony's answer to motion control in VR at this point. They didn't make a "Move 2.0" though. My main point here is that While I could see Oculus wanting to put out iterative refreshes of the Rift as frequently as every 1.5-2 years, I can't see them making a new Touch only a little over a year after the ...

  4. This is what my 2019 CV1 looks like now : r/oculus - Reddit

I bought my first CV1 on launch, and two more since then... all three of them still look almost new with the exception of the most used unit now having some kind of Borg-like external wiring I rigged up to fix the microscopic ribbon cable problem (the cable snaps after a while of adjusting the HMD strap to suit different head sizes) for the audio.

  5. HDMI not detected on CV1 : r/oculus - Reddit

Apr 13, 2023 · The PlayStation 3 Subreddit (PS3, PlayStation3, Sony PlayStation 3). From hardcore gamers, to, Nintendo fans, Xbox gamers, PS5 converts, and everything in between. All are welcome in /r/PS3. It Only Does Everything.

  6. My CV1 to Quest 2 review : r/oculus - Reddit

Jan 4, 2021 · I have been using a 4 sensor setup with my pre-order CV1 for roughly 4 years. I recently moved and didn't feel like cluttering up my new place with USB extension cables again. It was a toss up between Rift S and Quest 2, ultimately Link + the portability of Quest 2 were the deciding factors.

  7. Rift CV-1, right controller trigger twitching, only in Steam games

May 2, 2023 · The PlayStation 3 Subreddit (PS3, PlayStation3, Sony PlayStation 3). From hardcore gamers, to, Nintendo fans, Xbox gamers, PS5 converts, and everything in between. All are welcome in /r/PS3. It Only Does Everything.

  8. Rift CV1 has better latency (motion-to-photon) than Index ... - Reddit

Would really love having lower computational needs with the CV1, but image quality degrades much going under ss 2.0. So really need that RTX 4090 for CV1 and Hubris ;-) And don't get me started on Green Hell VR, where I'm down to ss 1.35 with the CV1 for mostly 90 fps. And that's using native Oculus/Meta drivers for Green Hell VR.

  9. CV1 or quest 2 : r/oculus - Reddit

Aug 1, 2022 · I owned a CV1 with 3 sensor setup and a now a quest 2. Quest 2 screen resolution/clarity crushes the CV1 The CV1 and sensors are SUPER finicky about USB ports. They push a lot of bandwidth over the USB ports and the connection can be flaky with older boards. The constant USB disconnects is probably the biggest reason I moved to the quest.

  10. Went back to the CV1 and I will die on this hill until ... - Reddit

For real the CV1 still holds up as a top tier headset. Resolution be damned I would use my CV1(s) still too if all my cables hadn't continually broke. (Playing competitively will do that lol) The Quest 2 is good hardware and the only headset worth recommending except PSVR2 right now. So is the Quest Pro, but it's price isn't consumer friendly.
