Jul 15, 2022 · I'm pretty certain that it's an Oni. They are characters in Japanese mythology that represent/carry out violent justice. My understanding is that it reflects Amos's moral code and conception of the role he plays. IE, he tries not to be a bad guy or hurt good people, but he is the (main) one who hurts bad ones.
