For many years NSU have produced Germany's most successful motorscooter successful alike in sales figures and performance. And now, NSU are an entirely new scooter, the proud to announce another world-beater Prima V. This machine is a new development in scooter design in every detail and incorporates the very latest technical trends.

Scooters had a fast development and very soon NSU entered the market with two new models: Prima III 150 ccm and Prima V 175 ccm. NSU even had a scooter with a four-stroke engine borrowed from the Max ( 250 ccm ), ready for discharge on the market in the early 60’s, but the demand for scooter sales dropped, so the project was abandoned.

The most advanced NSU scooter, which was also manufactured in the United States, the Prima V was marketed alongside the Prima III from 1960 to 1962. The 9.5 bhp single-cylinder engine propelled it to 56 mph with two riders.
