I am a huge BatCat shipper, but even I would feel it is a bit much to have their engagement front and center in Batman, Detective Comics, All Star Batman and others. It is the main story in the eponymous title and I think that is about right.

Bruce Wayne is the son of Martha and Thomas Wayne, and heir to the Wayne fortune. At a young age, Bruce's parents were killed in front of him, and caused him to strike out to become a vigilante and clean up his home, Gotham. He became Batman, and eventually adopted the orphan Dick Grayson, giving him the suphero identity of Robin.
