Feb 8, 2023 · I found that the conveniences of the iPad form factor for bedtime use, while very good, didn't justify the added cost and complexity of owning both a 14" MBP and 12.9" iPad Pro. If the aspect ratio of the screen wasn't such a blocky 4:3, and the camera was in the right place, I'd probably revisit that equation.

May 21, 2021 · The iPad is smaller and easier to handle than the 1st Gen Pro that it replaces. The Battery life is much improved and spatial audio with the Air Pods Pro is also a great addition. That having being said the 1st Gen iPad is still a fast machine, and while the new iPad is noticeably quicker at loading apps, its not a dramatic improvement.
