  2. Yamaha WR250X WR250R FMF, attitude, Wiseco Fuel Programmer

Jan 13, 2008 · I've read alot about the "FMF" programmer that I've had on my 08 WR250X for about a month or two now. I've read on ADVrider, Supermotojunkie, and Wr250rforum. It seems there is alot of misinformation out there. And even worse people are reposting that same bad information. Hopefully we can keep all that out of this thread.

  3. Gearing on WR250X - forumotion.com

May 9, 2011 · Subject: Re: Gearing on WR250X Mon May 09, 2011 10:19 am If you go with a 45 in the rear you can still use the stock chain. The nice thing about gearing it this way is that you've got more use of 6th gear, and when you do go off-road, you can take advantage of not being to tall and tackle some twisty trails easily.

  4. WR250X - ADV wheel/tire setup? - Adventure Rider

    Mar 26, 2008 · Howdy! I have a Yamaha WR250X with stock Bridgestone 090 sport tires: Front 17x3 wheel, 110/70R17 Rear 17x4 wheel, 140/70R17 I can't find a dual-purpose tire for a 17x3 front, and not much for a 17x4 rear. About 80/20 on/off road usage. I plan on going to: Front 19x2.5, 110/19-80 Rear 17x3.0, 130/17-80 I think I could then choose from: Metzeler ...

  5. Yamaha WR250X vs. Suzuki DRZ400SM - Adventure Rider

Oct 22, 2004 · I've owned the DRZ400sm and currently own the WR250x. Both with the standard mods, exhaust, airbox,re-jet / power commander and desmog. Both really nice bikes. Neither is powerful enough to be competitve in a supermoto race without some serious mods. But they are certainly a lot of fun and don't require a second mortgage or special tools to own.

  7. WR250X vs WR250R heads up - Adventure Rider

Feb 15, 2007 · I own the WR250X and am dead set on putting some 17" knobbies on. What are the reprecussions of riding with a rear tire up front? My bike handles like a dream right now but I'm willing to sacrifice a lil mobility for the knobs. I'm not gonna be doing any time on the track or anything like that either, this bike is just for sh!ts and giggles ...

  8. Round way down, 10 days on a WR250X - Adventure Rider

Jun 27, 2011 · I wanted to ride some challenging trails and chose to take my 2008 WR250X. I have modified this bike for just this type of adventure and was eager to get to it. I had wanted to try stacking my new Giantloop Coyote bag on top of my Giant Loop Mojavi bag. I thought this would allow me to quickly switch from touring to trail riding with minimal fuss.

  9. wr250r lets talk horsepower and torque | Adventure Rider

Dec 25, 2013 · yea in the future i would be but i have built and raced motors for some several years and after looking at the cam specs and everything of this motor i think that if someone was to really put forward the money and effort that you could get good power without killing the longevity or the engine to bad. of all the bbk dyno sheets i have seen using the stock cam they sign off way before the ...

  10. WR250X off road? - Adventure Rider

Sep 19, 2008 · The WR250X tires are in a slightly odd size. If you want to go with mild knobbies the front should be changed to a 19" and the rear to a narrower 17". 110/70/17 140/70/17
