Jan 13, 2008 · I've read alot about the "FMF" programmer that I've had on my 08 WR250X for about a month or two now. I've read on ADVrider, Supermotojunkie, and Wr250rforum. It seems there is alot of misinformation out there. And even worse people are reposting that same bad information. Hopefully we can keep all that out of this thread.

The nice thing about gearing it this way is that you've got more use of 6th gear, and when you do go off-road, you can take advantage of not being to tall and tackle some twisty trails easily.

I have a Yamaha WR250X with stock Bridgestone 090 sport tires: Front 17x3 wheel, 110/70R17 Rear 17x4 wheel, 140/70R17 I can't find a dual-purpose tire for a 17x3 front, and not much for a 17x4 rear. About 80/20 on/off road usage. I plan on going to: Front 19x2.5, 110/19-80 Rear 17x3.0, 130/17-80 I think I could then choose from: Metzeler ...

Oct 22, 2004 · I've owned the DRZ400sm and currently own the WR250x. Both with the standard mods, exhaust, airbox,re-jet / power commander and desmog. Both really nice bikes. Neither is powerful enough to be competitve in a supermoto race without some serious mods. But they are certainly a lot of fun and don't require a second mortgage or special tools to own.

Should i look to buy the new crf 300l brand new or pour 2000 dollars into my 2009 wr250x. If i continue with the stock wr i would need new wheels and other upgrades for about 2000$.

Feb 15, 2007 · I own the WR250X and am dead set on putting some 17" knobbies on. What are the reprecussions of riding with a rear tire up front? My bike handles like a dream right now but I'm willing to sacrifice a lil mobility for the knobs. I'm not gonna be doing any time on the track or anything like that either, this bike is just for sh!ts and giggles ...

Jun 27, 2011 · I wanted to ride some challenging trails and chose to take my 2008 WR250X. I have modified this bike for just this type of adventure and was eager to get to it. I had wanted to try stacking my new Giantloop Coyote bag on top of my Giant Loop Mojavi bag. I thought this would allow me to quickly switch from touring to trail riding with minimal fuss.
