There were 3 different turbine wheels offered in the 6.0 powerstroke gt3782va turbo. Over the years ford attempted to do 2 things while changing the turbo specs... quicker spool and quieter turbo. Those were two big complaints early on.

Apr 21, 2020 · Unplug the wire towards the top of the turbo, there is a bolt on the turbo that holds it in place, of course remove this to get the wire off. The turbo feed line is right on top of the turbo, 2 bolts, remove. Follow the feed line to the other end, 1 bolt, remove, pull the feed line out of the 2nd hole, it won't come out easy, but pull straight up.

Sep 4, 2010 · The 6.0 makes 26-30psi stock. I've seen as high as 35psi with tunes and have had no problems. Although I agree the stock boots are not the best. I have heard good things about the diesel site . com boots on the 6.0

Aug 21, 2009 · After breaking the clamp and looking where the turbo and Y-pipe are positioned, they are about 1/4-1/2 inch away and slightly out of alignment if they were to be pushed straight together. The turbo has one bolt installed (front one closest to the Y-pipe) to the pedestal. Neither the turbo nor the Y-pipe wants to move very much.

Nov 18, 2021 · The 03 style turbo has the 10 blade wheel (exhaust side) and 3 horizontal bolts. This turbo will fit all 6.0s. The 4.5 and up turbo used the 13 blade wheel, 2 horizontal bolts up front and a vertical bolt on the back. You can reach behind the turbo and try to feel which way the rear bolt sits. Idk what "tube" they want to clean.
