Feb 13, 2020 · So they are now releasing this h4 kit for the fj40 land cruiser which is basically the Japanese version of the Jeep. That is the nice thing about the harness. It is long enough to reach the battery and the headlights since the fj40 battery and light placement is similar to the TJ. Install photos attached and my Toyota photo bombing.

Oct 11, 2021 · Through research on a better headlight option, I stumbled across a genuine Toyota headlight kit meant to replace the stock sealed beams on the FJs; part number 81110-60p70. A simple google result will wield many affordable options. You can also have these shipped to your local Toyota dealer. I was $80 out-of-pocket total for this kit.

Nov 6, 2024 · I'm now running a Frankenstein of Hella and Toyota (Koito). I replaced the OEM headlights and fogs both with Hella lights back in 2020. I went with DOT H4 headlights and yellow driving/fog lights. All running their stock bulbs and they've been great. Last weekend I installed the Toyota harness to power the Hella headlights. Easy installation.

Apr 1, 2019 · The Toyota motors have a great reputation and the BMW diesels initially had injector problems with carbon buildup. Perhaps that has been fixed with the second generation. At the end of the day, I want what we can’t have, a diesel TJ that gets 30 plus MPG and has enough power to go when I ask it to.
