Mar 2, 2013 · Posting this for my Dad. He has a Suzuki gt 250 x7 which he has fully restored. It had problems with losing the spark when warm,from cold it would fire up fine but then soon as it warmed up it would lose the spark and cut out. Now there's no spark what so ever. Changed...

Aug 20, 2007 · My Suzuki T350 has the same cases as the t250's (and GT250's) and I have a drain plug for each cylinder, plus two or three for the gear oil. Smell the oil that came out of the cylinders. Gear oil has its own unique smell.

May 13, 2012 · The VStar 250, the TU250 and the Rebel 250 will all do great for commuting around town. They get excellent gas mileage, are easy to learn on, and are very maneuverable. They are not designed for long-distance travelling at interstate speeds, though.

Aug 27, 2015 · The Suzuki TU250 is a nice retro looking air cooled 250cc single that seems to have all the right stuff, but never really sold well. The fact that it was priced higher then the competition's more advanced sport bikes didn't help. The newer GW250 is still a 250cc single, but has water cooling and makes better power.

Feb 19, 2024 · Hello, I just joined the forum. I recently bought a 1981 Suzuki GS250T with 2458 miles on it. Although it has low miles, time has taken a toll, especially to the rubber and aluminum parts. Someone in the past even welded patches on the exhaust pipes where condensation probably ate holes in them, but they didn't smooth out the welds.
