Miki is a grey tomboyish cat from Brazil. She appeared in the latest series entitled Sooty. In the hotel, she works as a chef. After the series ended, Richard Cadell, when asked if she would appear in the then-new 2001 series, said she had gone back to Brazil. Her puppet was reused for Kipper the Cat in The Big Day Out onwards.

Sooty is a British children's television media franchise created by Harry Corbett incorporating primarily television and stage shows. The franchise originated with his fictional glove puppet character introduced to television in The Sooty Show in 1955.

Animal Jingoism: In he claims not to like cats because he's a dog; this is dropped in when Miki, a puppet cat, is added to the cast. Keep Fit Sooty is the 10th and final episode of Series 3 from the Sooty (2001) television series. It's also the finale episode for the whole show. Even if this episode aired in 2004, it was produced in 2002 according to the credits. This episode marks Miki's last appearance to date.
