The sims won't launch on my computer. Every time I try to start up the game there is a popup that says "Unable to start: The Sims 4 is already running. [ed35e0ra:29f00e76:00000000:18a1dd51]" I have restarted my computer and have attempted to repair the sims. I have had this problem for a few days now and I don't know what to do.

I agree. I am annoyed that P is the pause time button when P is on the other side of the keyboard compared to WASD. And no, that is not a shooter thing, that is standard for all video games and I use WASD to move the camera around in TS4. Even if I didn't use WASD in the Sims, I am right-handed and P is on the right side of the keyboard.

@RandomBuzziness Funny thing is, after a long "short" walk, he comes home and then pees in front of the door or on the patio behind and even poops there 😂 he has learned how to potty but I guess potty for dogs in Sims means behind the house on the patio 😂 I am currently playing in Sulani. But I do think you're right that it is location based.

Just now I had the same problem again and this time Sims 4 even made my PC reboot on its own! I've never had any problems with any other games with crashes like that - Sims 4 is the only Origin game I play, the others usually use Steam - it's always Sims 4 that causes it initially and only then it's affecting other games too. But wouldn't it be actually technically POSSIBLE to restore what was ruined? Back then restoring any sim was possible in Sims 2 with Sim PE. It shouldn't be technically impossible in Sims 4, too - at least in those cases, when all needed data is actually here - the sim that need to be restored is saved to the gallery from the older save-file.
