A High-powered rifle in Black Ops II, the SMR brings high bullet power and range to the table boasting the longest 2 hit kill range in the game for a non sniper-rifle. However its power is tempered by its sub-par handling and fire-cap meaning that those who wish to do well will have to keep their foes at the SMR's optimal range of afar.

The weapon was in development by Tusla Arms in Russia, the rifle was designed by engineer Alexander Shevchenko and design student Andrey Ovsyannikov.
