Sep 28, 2023 · If you're more worried about animals maybe consider something like the Ruger LCR in 38+p or 357 and get some Underwood 38+p Hardcast ammo. That load is actually very close to my handload I carry in the woods. I carry a 158 grain hardcast swc only I'm pushing it a little faster into 357 magnum territory. It does much better than the 9mm hardcast.

Mar 19, 2019 · Will get my EC9s back from Ruger this Monday via FEDEX, sent it in because of light strikes on two different brands of factory ammo Federal 115grnFMG and Hornady Critical Defense, which I carry CCW. I noticed that the firing pin would barely dent the primer on about 5 Federal out of a box of 50, and then 2-3 out of a box of 25 Hornady.

Sep 12, 2018 · Probably a good idea to take the empty holster When you go shopping and see what works best. Baggy vs tight fitting takes care of the printing. Personally I prefer cargo pants . Mar 8, 2020 · I modify a Ruger single action revolver trigger because it's a range toy. Making the trigger lighter and cleaner acting increases my enjoyment. On the other hand, my LC9 is a carry weapon, I keep it bone stock. Watching the Rittenhouse trial was enlightening.

Jun 23, 2018 · Take a look at the leading edge of the feed ramp. My LC9s Pro had feeding issues about 100 rounds out of the box. Ruger ground down and polished the feed ramp but the issue remained. I sent the firearm back several more times but the CYOA in the repair dept was on full display blaming me for not being able to handle the pistol.

I have owned a Ruger ECS9 handgun here and try to clean it every two months if I shoot the range often. Is that too long or normal? My friend said, "Every time, I go to the range, then I clean my handgun at night after the shooting range that day."
