The Rhinogydd (a Welsh plural form, often anglicised as Rhinogs and also known by the alternative Welsh plural Rhinogau[citation needed]) are a range of mountains located east of Harlech in North Wales.

As you might have gathered the Rhinogydd, also known as the Rhinogau and often Anglicised as The Rhinogs, is one of Wales' wildest and least visited mountain ranges. It stretches some 20 km from north to south with the largest peaks found in its southern half.

Rhinog Fach to Rhinog Fawr: From Rhinog Fach the route double backs on itself back down to Llyn Hywel before heading in a northerly direction along Cwm Hosan and into Bwlch Drws Ardydwy. From here the route turns east along the valley before turning north and onto the summit of Rhinog Fawr (720m).

Apr 30, 2013 · Rhinog Fawr from Cwm Bychan – There are so many routes in the Northeren Rhinogydd that you can choose, ironically this is probably going to be the busiest. The first section takes you across the infamous Rhinogydd Badlands that aren’t as bad as you’d imagine. Just allow a couple of hours for the 2 or 3 km that the cover.
