Iron deficiency anemia (IDA) is one of the most serious nutritional problems. This study aimed to evaluate the therapeutic effects of a novel agar oligosaccharide–iron complex (AOS–iron) on rats with IDA, such as iron supplementation and recovery of antioxidant ability.
