Oct 7, 2022 · I tried to edit this in the meeting options for a public streamed meeting and disable reactions but the public/non-presenters were still able to raise their hands even though reactions were disabled. Is there any way to turn this off? I followed the directions at the link/thread below but it seems to no longer work.

If you are not able to see the meetings option, please consult your IT admin and check the teams meetings settings in the admin center.

Mar 23, 2023 · The raise hand is not related to the reactions unfortunatelly. If i disable from meeting options the reactions the "raise hand" is still available. In the admin center there is nothing. For this reason this is a bug or something not implemented. Best regards, Roberto

As Veejay said in the following thread you will be able to see the participants list who raise hands if you go back to the Teams Meeting main window, but there are different workarounds to see them when sharing the screen directly without going back each time to the main window, check them here:

Oct 20, 2020 · I'd like to ask you for a help about the "raise a hand" feature in MS Teams for Mac. I see the icon "raise a hand" but when I click at it, a text saying "couldn't raise your hand, please try again" appears. I haven't heard about anyone with the same problem so I hope that someone would help me here. Turning off and on doesn't help. Thanks
