Most reagents won't show the difference, but in my analysis the purple MDMA has been strongly shown to contain MDBD as well, which cannot be there simply as an impurity. It would account for the use of Star Anise instead of Methylamine in the recipe..I would expect more and more purple to show up if people keep responding to it well.
