Jul 9, 2013 · Yeah, Porsche was NOT happy about that and made sure there wasn't any Porsche part numbers on the block or head, etc. They also came with 2-bbl carbs which I've seen those intakes used on hacked up 924's. This motor was also used as a diesel in the VW LT van (think Sprinter or Postal truck).

Jul 18, 2012 · The later-dash 944s are nicer, IMO. Advantage: 951. Styling: 951 every day and twice on Sunday. Not close. The M3 isn't a bad looking car, but it's a generic 90s sedan, IMO. Advantage: 951. Practicality: The 951 does have that big hatch, but the back seat is pretty tiny.

Aug 4, 2017 · It's not uncommon to see 944s at track and autocross events. So seeing how it stacks up against a late model Porsche--even an SUV--is an interesting comparison. I do which they mentioned what tires the 944 was on though. This. Of course the Macan would get it's ass handed to it by a modern Cayman. So would a 951.

Nov 2, 2023 · I plan on putting them on the 951 which has about 10 year old tires currently. My usage for the tires will be exactly like yours, but probably with a few HPDEs instead of autox. 245 40 17 front and 275 40 17 rear.
