Sep 1, 2023 · How do I get the new Obsidian logo/icon? I have Obsidian on Mac, up to date, but the icon hasn't been updated. I know I can use a custom icon, but I don't want that cuz in my mind the icon should update itself when I update the app. Am I getting it wrong? Thanks in advance.

Sep 19, 2022 · I think I may have stumbled across the origin of the Obsidian icon. Among the items in a 2018 “Role Playing” icon set by Chanut is Industries I was surprised to spot an icon that looks very familiar.
