Getting job orders for warranty 'wet' smells is wallet punishing thing as a tech. Isn't your problem but is the reality you will be dealing with.

Cabin air blows through the evaporator to cool the air, but also collected condensation like an ice cold glass of iced tea on a hot summer day. Water and heat is a great environment for bacteria.

Jul 12, 2022 · The car was from Florida and it smells musty. The driver's side floormat was horrendous so I simply through out all the floor mats and got new ones. I am working on the floor carpet but even smelling it up close with my nose, it just smells like nice carpet shampoo. If I leave the car out in the sun, windows up, it gets stronger for sure.
