Feb 28, 2022 · i loved the look of the mk8 gti from the get go. it's so different from the 7.5 but is also umistakeably gti. i'm so used to the infotainment/climate screen by now. the dash is so clean, and the commands are visible only when you need them. not a fan of the plasticky bits though. and i wish i have a sunglass holder somewhere.

Jan 19, 2022 · The red GTI badge signifies that the PP (performance pack) has been installed on 15-17 GTI, which was only available for the SE and Autobahns MK7's. In 2018(MK7.5) the PP became standard for all GTI's, but VW used chrome badges on all 2018 tirms. In 2019 they went back the red badge on all tirms since they all had the PP. Edit: except the S tirm

Sep 7, 2015 · I work for a large company and as of last week all colors of the MK7 GTI are represented in our lots (!) The red is a very nice color (no orange tones like some bright reds have), but you're exactly right, all the accents get lost except the black bits, which still pop. I was torn between red and white, and went white for the contrast.

Oct 20, 2023 · Hello everyone, I'm having trouble finding info on this part. I have a mk7 gti and the red light strip above the glove box went out. The one in the driver door jamb has been out since I bought the car but I heard those ones are a pain to replace. Does anyone know any part numbers for this or how to go about replacing it? Thanks.

Apr 14, 2023 · The mk7 has red interior LED strips that cannot change colour. You can also buy inexpensive footwell LED's that change colour and add a lot of ambient light. I bought some in red and it's a nice touch for the interior.

I could check the part number when I get home from work later today if you still need it, but I do remember that it wasn't easy to find the OEM part because it's usually sold as a complete grill with ...
