Shards are just a way to describe MDMA. Pure, crystalline MDMA will be made of shards of crystal, instead of a powder or pill. However, as you state, you can never be sure what's in any crystal shards.

In it's pure form, molly is a clearish offwhite crystal but from my own experience, that looks more like meth. Instead of oblate crystals it looks more like shards especially since you can see the jaggedness to it's shape. I'll take it though lol, could use something stronger than coffee 👍.
