Better polished graphics. the whole game feels more solid. MW3 is more like a Apex Legends/Chinese Generic online FPS. Singleplayer looked interesting, but not as good as MW2 singleplayer levels. MW3 definitely is a downgrade to the series in graphics, level design... and the weapons, oh god they look and feel like complete shit.

I feel like MW3 is getting better reviews in comparison to MW2. Personally, I enjoy MW3’s multiplayer better than MW2. It just feels closer to OG CoD than the last two versions. I’m also a big resurgence/BR player so buying MW3 just made sense for me. Gives me a chance to level up some new guns before Warzone releases.

MW2 had its issues but overall it was action packed, great maps, and customization. MW3 was eh, wasn't a bad game I played it but never could really get into it. Mw3 on the other hand has some of the smoothest gameplay I’ve experienced in years and I don’t feel like I’m being slowed down all the time. So yeah I wouldn’t recommend mw2 to anyone even Warzone was trash although they definitely cooked with Al Mazrah and ofc multiplayer maps as well but sbmm in this game was also terrible.

I think mw3 MP is better and not by much. That is it. Everything else is the same or sucks. And you should expect rival subs to react the way that they did. For anyone who bought mw3 and not mw2, cool. For the mw2 guys who are in the sub and own the game they are not spending money on mw3 where they can play mw2 and it's 80% the exact same.

Aug 26, 2017 · Both are great, mw2 campaign is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ amazing, and the spec ops are great. Mw3 has a subpar (but still good) campaign and the survival mode is excellent. Multiplayer is still alive so in my opinion get both when they drop the price. Actually get the whole trilogy, the 3 games are really good.

EDIT: I’m a good person to answer this as mw2(2022) is the first FPS game I’ve ever bought. Mw3 was my second. Just get Mw3 because of more FREE customization options (guns, operators, camos). All mw2 guns plus the new ones); if you get bored and need a break, just do weapon challenges and you’ll evolve your play style.

There has been plenty of criticism of MW3. A lot of it is warranted. But for you as a new player, a lot of that just criticism is a non-factor for you as you didn’t play 2. Because a large portion of it is centered around the value of upgrading from 2 to 3. Not really a problem if you’re coming in new to one of the two. Get MW3.

Nov 13, 2023 · It's because the TTK and gunplay weren't designed for these maps. The og MW2 guns were zero recoil hitscan death beams. The ADS speeds were nearly instant. If you saw someone cross map, you could delete them with a quick tap of the trigger. This game it takes like 10+ bullets to kill someone across the map.
