Their new line is a bit limited, and I understand they're working with "scale color" and colors designed to have washes over them - which works just fine for infantry, but much less well for armored vehicles.

Mar 23, 2004 · I just bought Tamiya’s m1a2 abrams and I intend to paint it in the desert scheme…I was wondering if anyone here could reccomend the best acrylic brand/color/color mix to use. Tamiya suggests ts46 light sand, but that is a spray can color and I hate spray cans (I have an airbrush).
