M113A3 TUR – Otherwise known as the TLAV (Tracked Light Armoured Vehicle) or LAV-T is an APC version of the M113A3 standard equipped with a Cadillac-Gage 1 metre turret taken from a AVGP Grizzly, armed with a M2HB.50cal machine gun and a C6 GPMG.

The M113A3 is an upgraded version of the M113 family of vehicles, which served as the main armored personnel carrier (APC) for the US Army in the 1980s. The upgrade was undertaken to improve the overall performance of the M113 fleet, addressing its deficiencies in terms of protection and mobility.

M113A3 Armored Personnel Carrier (figs 1-3 and 1-4).This is a combat troop transporter that provides protected transportation for cargo or troops. Almost all M113’s and M113A1’s have been converted to M113A2’s or M113A3’s. The M113, M113A1, M113A2, and M113A3 are capable of LAPES operations and low velocity air drop (LVAD). 1-7-3.

m113a3 The M113 is being refurbished and upgraded into nine new variants of mechanized support vehicles. The role of the new M113 variants is to provide the Army with combat support and combat service support vehicles to augment the new LAV III fleet.

m113a3 full tracked armored personnel carrier This carrier is designed to carry 12 troops plus the driver. It can be used for cargo, ambulance, or reconnaissance work.

The m113A3's appearance is cubic, with a well-sloped glacis plate, and an inwardly-sloped rear. A large, rectangular trim vane is fitted to the top of the glacis plate, with pioneer tools stowed above it, and two pairs of round headlights with loop-like collision guards at the top on each side.
