Reverend "Lester" Lowe is the main antagonist in the book Cycle of the Werewolf and its 1985 adaptation, Silver Bullet. He is the reverend of the Grace Baptist Church. He becomes a victim of a curse in which he has no memory of what he does in his werewolf state.

Reverend Lester Lowe is the main antagonist in Stephen King's novella Cycle of the Werewolf and the 1985 film adaption Silver Bullet. He is portrayed by retired actor Everett McGill, who also played Marcus Penn in Under Siege 2: Dark Territory.

Reverend Lester Lowe tries, but fails, to prevent the townsfolk from causing more bloodshed. While the vigilantes hunt for the killer in the nearby woods, three of them are attacked and killed. The survivors — particularly Andy Fairton — later deny seeing anything unusual.

Reverend Lester Lowe, the werewolf, is first mentioned in the story in April, preaching a sermon about the coming of spring. Around May, he has a nightmare in which his entire congregation—and then he himself—transform into werewolves before he awakens.

Reverend Lester Lowe is a werewolf that has been terrorizing the town of Tanker's Mill although it is unknown how he became a werewolf. However, Lester does not see his werewolf transformation as a curse but a bliss given to him by the almighty to punish people who are evil, immoral and corrupt.

Lester Lowe: He is the reverend of the Grace Baptist Church in Tarker's Mill. He was discovered to be the werewolf by only Marty Coslaw during Halloween because of the eye-patch he wore after the incident during the fourth of July.

The children conduct their own investigation and eventually come to conclude that the killer is a werewolf and Reverend Lester Lowe is the Lycanthrope. The movie's climax takes place on Halloween when the Reverend Lowe/Lycanthrope comes after Jane and Marty at their house.
