Mar 6, 2006 · So, I asked LWRCI if they have taken care of the SMG 45 issues. They said that the initial batch had some magazine issues that they fixed and that they had fixed the accuracy issue. They responded quickly to my email, same day. They expect to be back up into production with the SMG 45 with the updates in about a month or so. V/R

Jul 30, 2020 · Has anyone contacted LWRC (and received a response) in regard to what Garand Thumb discovered in his video review of the LWRC 45 SMG? Is there even some kind of "fix" for this issue that anyone is aware of? Any info is appreciated. Aug 19, 2022 · Bought my SMG-45 in October 21 (4AM serial) and had the exact same thing happen. A little unnerving to have it going off randomly right out of the box. My LGS shipped back to LWRC, who did replace the factory trigger with a Geissele, and had it back to me within a week. Has run flawlessly (without accuracy issues thankfully) ever since.
