LOW VIBRATION TRACK (LVT) The LVT system has been constantly improved and modified to meet the clients' demands. As a designed system the performance of LVT is customised according to specific project requirements.

The Amphibious Vehicle, Tracked (LVT or AMTRAC) is an amphibious warfare vehicle and amphibious landing craft, introduced by the United States Navy and United States Marine Corps. (The USN and USMC use "L" to designate Amphibious vessels, also called "L class".)

LVT Standard is used for a wide variety of track classes, including heavy haul and high speed lines. The LVT Standard system has proven itself over more than 25 years as a slab track solution for bridges, viaducts, earthworks and tunnels.

Due to the elasticity and the decoupling of the LVT supports from the surrounding concrete, the system has low natural frequencies and excellent structure-borne noise reduction. LVT Standard is used for a wide variety of track classes, including heavy haul and high speed lines.

In order to further improve the vibration damping performance of the LVT and reduce the vibration level of the track components caused by the wheel-rail impact as well as justify the need to reduce vibration of the traditional LVT (T-LVT) (T-LVT), this paper proposes a new LVT (N-LVT).
