LAV-25 - Wikipedia
The LAV-25 (Light Armored Vehicle) is a member of the LAV II family. [4] It is an eight-wheeled amphibious armored reconnaissance vehicle built by General Dynamics Land Systems and used by the United States Marine Corps and the United States Army .

It had a 14.9 in ground clearance. Tires were Michelin XL 11x16in, mounted on tubeless steel beted radials. The suspensions comprised four torsion bars (behind each train) and eight schock absorbers. The steering controlled the four front wheels.

May 4, 2005 · Well, fellow tread-heads, who makes the best/most accurate wheels/tires for the RoG LAV-25? I’m looking to try my hand at some extra detailing on this one, and all the reviews I’ve read make the comment that the tires are one thing that has to be corrected.
