Kaoru Sakurayashiki (桜屋敷 さくらやしき 薫 かおる Sakurayashiki Kaoru?), known in "S" as Cherry Blossom (チェリーブロッサム Cherīburossamu?), is a character in the SK8 the Infinity anime series. He is a skilled skater and one of the founding member of "S" who uses his AI board (Carla) to skate in a calculated and logical fashion.

MatchaBlossom is the slash ship between Kojiro "Joe" Nanjo and Kaoru "Cherry Blossom" Sakurayashiki from the SK8 the Infinity fandom. Joe and Cherry have been childhood friends since going to kindergarten together.

SK8 the Infinity (Japanese: SK∞ エスケーエイト, Hepburn: Esu Kē Eito, stylized as SK∞ the Infinity) is a Japanese original anime television series produced and animated by Bones that aired from January to April 2021 on ABC and TV Asahi's Animazing!!! programming block.

When Kaoru was a teenager, he was friends with Nanjo Kojiro (Joe) and Shindo Ainosuke (Adam). Together, they founded S, an illegal skating racetrack. However, Ainosuke left for America with little warning.
