Jan 30, 2012 · JAHA publishes original articles, editorials, and reviews of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular science in an online‐only format. Articles undergo rigorous peer review by a group of editors, statistical consultants, and reviewers representing the full breadth and strength of the American Heart Association.

Journal of the American Heart Association: Cardiovascular and Cerebrovascular Disease is a peer-reviewed open access scientific journal and an official journal of the American Heart Association. [1] . Since 2015, it is also published with John Wiley & Sons.

Our published articles covered a broad range of cardiovascular science. About two‐thirds of the original articles reported clinical science and one‐third reported basic science. The most frequent topic categories included coronary heart disease, vascular medicine, heart failure, stroke, and electrophysiology.
