Brunei Driving Laws. Brunei traffic rules require all to drive on the left side of the road and overtake on the right. Left turn are permitted at red light unless otherwise indicated by a sign at the intersection. Direction signals are required for turning and for changing lanes during travel.

The Land Transport Department (JPD) of Brunei reminds all vehicle owners to renew their road tax, a legal requirement under the Road Traffic Regulations, 2007. Renewal can be done online through TransportBN and Gov.bn or in person at JPD counters or post offices nationwide.
