Since IPPS-A now handles all waivers and 4187s,(are those even being used now?), S1 just keeps telling me there’s nothing they can do. My unit makes E1-E3s stay in close quarters barracks rooms, I sleep not even five feet from my roommate, and E-4s get to have their own rooms, so this waiver was really important to me.

May 9, 2023 · Absence Request - Request & Authority for Leave (must have control number if reporting+/- 60 days early w/ CDRs approval) This is done through IPPS-A, on the landing page select the tile that says ‘Request Absence’ and go through the steps. Once complete and signed off on, download the form and attach it alongside the other documents listed.

Feb 15, 2023 · The intent was to have IPPS-A cutout people going to reassignments in person, but yes. Once the elections are complete go to your reassignments office and they will cut your orders. I was the first person at my installation who fully received IPPS-A orders. Sat down with reassignments as they figured out how to cut the official orders.

Mar 31, 2023 · IPPS-A has become such a problem that the Inspector General’s Office had to create a new Characterization Code for IPPS-A issues within the IGARS system. That, and the HRC IG Office is really hating life right about now.

Mar 29, 2023 · IPPS-A should be awarding promotion points for any TRADOC-approved certification, which IPPS-A gets from COOL. However, IPPS-A is not doing that. The IPPS-A G1 FMD Team is working a resolution on this issue, as not all the TECH CERTs that appear on STP and/or Person Profile are populating on the PPW correctly.
