The anime definitely affects how much I like a mobile suit, so beyond the cool design I really liked Ramba Ral and his gouf. After watching 08th MS Team, the gouf, specifically the gouf custom, is one of my tip favorites for sure. Badass, intimidating look, and super variable in battle armaments. Plus that sword is just cool.

Nov 10, 2022 · Tough choice. If it's specifically between Gouf Custom and Zaku Amazing then it's Gouf. If it's base MS-06 Zaku II and MS-07B Gouf then it's again Gouf. But if it's generally Zaku and all it's variants or Gouf and all of it's variants it's a much tougher choice that ultimately goes for the Zaku, if simply due to the sheer variety.

Mar 6, 2020 · Mix-Up: The Gouf does surprisingly well in Mix-Up; 400 points is a good score type for most suits and the Gouf can perform rather well there, but can easily low-ball it at 350 or 300 and do just fine. The Gouf is still one-dimensional as ever, but the presence of enemy suits in this tier can easily let the Gouf surprise opponents.

Will probably try the HG Gouf and Custom kits as well as maybe the MG Gouf as well. I love how you get a sitting pilot for the suit a standing one and then a really big one to paint properly. I don't think MG kits do that anymore, at least with the big pilot figure.

From experience, the Gouf is definitely an amazing kit. Good choice on getting it. As for hg recommendations, I would go with the Zaku II, Moon Gundam, Penelope (if you have the room to display it), Both of the Sinanju’s (that being the standard red and the Stein) and the Narrative Gundam A-packs/C-packs
