Endoscopic ultrasound guided gastroenterostomy (EUS-GE) with a lumen apposing metal stent (LAMS) is a novel technique described in the management of GOO 17 18. It entails the insertion of the LAMS from the stomach to the small bowel distal to the obstruction, thereby effectively bypassing the luminal compromise 19 .
