Is the gtx 1080 still a good gpu in 2024? : r/pcmasterrace - Reddit
My 1080 TI is still running 1440p 60fps max graphics almost any AAA games before Elden Ring (haven't played the latest titles titles after ER), as example Monster Hunter World with everything maxed goes 1440p 90fps, or 1080p 120fps (including the infamouts volumetric fog at max thats eats like 40fps without any quality diference compared to low).
1080 ti in 2023, is it still worth and how much would you pay
Used 3060 and 6600XT/6650XT are trending around $150. Brand new 7600 is low $200 with Starfield. I can't imagine spend anything close to this for 1080 Ti. 1080 Ti uses 100W+ more power, if you are a heavy user the energy cost delta cannot be ignored. No 1080 Ti has any factory warranty left unless it's on a special plan.
Is The GTX 1080 Ti still a good buy in 2023? : r/buildmeapc - Reddit
I highly recommend updating to a card with 12gb of VRAM if possible. If you only got money for 8gb, the 5700 XT can be purchased for $125 on AliExpress and the 1080 Ti used (if you wanna stay Nvidia and gives you 11gbs VRAM) can be found on eBay between $125-250. The 1080 Ti refurbished cards even come with a warranty.
Is a 1080 Ti Worth Buying in 2024? : r/buildapc - Reddit
yes it is , a GTX 1080 ti is a legendary GPU. As long as it's working, it's more than viable in 2024. Just check out the performance tests on youtube if you don't believe me.
RTX for GTX 1080ti, is it because of software or is it ... - Reddit
Jun 30, 2021 · The 1080 Ti still holds up pretty well, especially at 1080p Ultra/1440p raster performance where it usually is very close to a 2080 Super. It just can't make up the lack of those physical RT cores, and lacks the Tensor cores to use DLSS. As an aside, userbenchmarks isn't a very good comparison for real-world performance for a variety of reasons.
What made the 1080ti so special? : r/buildapc - Reddit
Jun 24, 2023 · And it's really that last point that really drives home the GOAT for 1080 ti. There were massive gen-on-gen performance improvements in cards e.g. GTX 680, 9700 pro; there had been fantastic value cards e.g. 5870, 9800 GT.

GTX 1080 ti and 4k 120hz on a tv, will it work? - EVGA Forums
Nov 29, 2008 · I remember hearing there were active converter cables coming to do such a thing. However while you may be able to get it to output 4k 120Hz with an adapter you'll be hard pressed to actually play anything but eSports games at 4K 120Hz on a GTX 1080 Ti. Hell even a RTX 2080 Ti will struggle to do 4K 120Hz in most modern AAA games.
