Buying advice for a 100,000 mile F800GS? | Adventure Rider
Jun 25, 2021 · I am considering buying a 2012 BMW F800GS with 100,000miles. This would be my third bike, I currently own a 2009 Versys 650 and before that a 1999 BMW F650. The mileage initially scared me but I want to do more research before I can make a decision.
F800GS - Replacing the grips - BMW F800 Forum
Jul 14, 2016 · The rubber part of my F800GS grips is very worn out, and I would like to replace them. I've never done this before on any of my bikes and I don't know if its even possible to only replace the rubber part, or if I have to replace the whole grip (including whatever's under the rubber) So I'm...
Mounting a GPS Above the Instrument Cluster, F800GS?
Apr 13, 2015 · Does anyone know of an aftermarket mount or bracket available for the F800GS to get the GPS solidly mounted above the instruments? I have a 2014, sold in the US. Looking for options that don't require the purchase of a new fairing or windscreen. I am currently rocking a Givi Airflow, built for an F700 but slightly modified to fit the F800GS.
F800GS vs. F800GS Adventure (~1000 mile review)
Aug 18, 2014 · I currently own a 2014 Adventure which was in the shop. I have about 1200 miles of mostly on-road experience with that. During the work, I had a loaner, which was a 2014 F800GS non-Adventure. I put about 1000 on-road miles on that bike. Here is mine. No mods really other than the Hepco & Becker bars and the BMW panniers. Here is the loaner.

Nov 13, 2010 · With my F800GS I replaced the springs with Hyperpro the difference is incredible. As Richard230 noted, the difference between 7.5 and 10 is negligible and barley noticeable (IMO). I went from 10 to 15 wt on my Triumph and noticed very little difference, that being said, my Triumph is a road bike so it may depend on what you're aiming to do with ...

F800GS Weight Reduction - Adventure Rider
Apr 11, 2012 · The "F800GS Wunderlich Light" (Google it) is a good example of a really shaved down F800GS. It's not very pretty and it'd cost a lot to build one, but worth looking at for inspiration. Good luck!
