Jacob and Esau seem to have bugs regarding infinite lives. At least, I got Dead Cat on Esau and at some point I was like "Ope last life." And then died and the life counter disappeared. I was then able to get all the way to the chest as I got the potato peeler and passed it between the two of them for some intense buffs.

Im just yelling at Jacob to stand behind esau. Next thing i know he gets sniped from the slight character collision bump RIP run. I'm using the Hutts strat Strong Esau( Stat items) and just try to protect Jacob (Utility items/ defensive items)

Nov 7, 2021 · I lost several times in a spiked floor room as I had to keep Esau still when I moved to the button, but because I held the drop items button too long, it threw my items onto some permanent spikes and I didn’t have enough health to pick them up. People say that the ability to take 2 items in downpour, mines, etc is a strength for them.

Jun 29, 2022 · Active items can be tricky. HP generation is great on either, but things like Game Kid and Unicorn Horn are better on Jacob, who can move freely while Esau is kept in place. Giving those items to Esau usually does little. Glowing Hourglass is fantastic and should be prioritized. Be cognizant of transformations.

Apr 7, 2021 · For Esau, you use Q for Active and Cards. By default, you will use your Active Item when pressing these buttons. Holding CTRL will swap to Cards, which you then press the same buttons for. Lets say you wanted to use a Pill as Esau. You would hold CTRL and then press Q.
