Mar 2, 2025 · Its a railcar from the late 1950s made by a British soldier stationed in Germany and raced by proxy in the UK. The car is a 1930s ERA in 1/35th scale (4.5 inches). This railcar is made to represent the Prince Bira of Siam. The body is diecast made by Scamold in the UK. They made several different cars from 1939-1950.

Scale Models Ltd. (brandname: SCAMOLD) specialised in racing car models, a fact that is probably related to their original location (1930s?) next to the Brooklands racing circuit.

A lovely early SCAMOLD metal, hand painted, blue racing. The car measures approximately 4.5" (115mm in length). The race car features a bright blue paint with yellow stripe with the number "8" on the rear end of each side of the car and on the front grill.
