Feb 24, 2025 · De DAF Museum collectie toont de geschiedenis van de Van Doorne's aanhangers tot DAF Trucks N.V met ruim 100 voertuigen van 1928 tot nu.

The DAF Museum shows visitors young and old how a small blacksmith’s shop in 1928 could develop into a leading truck manufacturer. The many cars, trailers, buses and trucks on display are witness to DAF’s rich heritage.

DAF was the first to introduce turbo-intercooling. The technology was initially developed to meet the demand for higher engine outputs and lower fuel consumption, but also proved to be indispensable in realizing cleaner exhaust emissions.

De geschiedenis van de DAF personenauto voert langs een keur van historische auto’s met volop aandacht voor de revolutionaire traploze aandrijving van DAF, de Variomatic. De collectie personenauto’s wordt aangevuld met enkele zeldzame prototypes.

Het DAF Museum wordt in de dagelijkse gang van zaken vrijwel volledig door 160 vrijwilligers onderhouden. Zij leiden u rond, ontvangen u bij de receptie en schenken uw kopje koffie. En dat alles geheel belangeloos.

Het DAF Museum geeft jong en oud een prachtig overzicht van hoe een kleine smederij uit 1928 uitgroeide tot een toonaangevende truckproducent. Een uitgebreide en wisselende collectie personenauto’s, aanhangwagens, bussen en trucks illustreert DAF’s rijke erfgoed, waar de ruim 170 vrijwilligers de bezoekers graag in meenemen.

Feb 26, 2025 · Walk into the DAF Museum in Eindhoven and you literally can’t miss it: the enormous, superbly executed and highly detailed scale model of DAF’s historical main building in Eindhoven. The builder: former DAF employee Rien Gerrits, who has been working as one of the 200 volunteers at the DAF Museum since 2018.

A DAF passenger car is ideal for city traffic, but a genuine DAF 66 delivery version was nearly impossible to find—there are only seven left in the Netherlands ...
