Tried many runs yesterday on P8 TZ in the CS and Andariel and Meph with Hoto or Crescent Moon (both without Griffons) and 105 FCR Nova Sorc. The kill speed is significant faster mit Crescent Moon. Jan 8, 2022 · What makes Crescent Moon good is -enemy light res, static field, and the chain light proc. So the enemy light res is pretty useless and only benefits the 2 on hit skills. Static field is awesome and a great AOE version of crushing blow, except it only has a 7% chance to proc. That’s just too low to be a major “bonus” or make it worth using.

Oct 27, 2021 · Crescent moon is my favorite Lightning sorc weapon because once you have godly gear and have infinity on merc, you will 1 shot all non-lightning immune monsters with or without cmoon, but when a monster that was lightning immune gets stripped with conviction.

Ive been using it and havent noticed a difference from HOTO, in fact i find i kill bosses faster, at the very least. Only costs an Um rune and that -35% enemy light res imo does way more for you than +3 skills.
