Apr 21, 2014 · Merely hours after their weekend flash sale including the games, Sony has allowed Crash Bandicoot and Spyro the Dragon games to be openly downloaded on Playstation Vita. Spyro 1-3, Crash 1-3, and Crash Team Racing are now all available for direct download, and will be on your Vita’s download page if you bought them this weekend.

Sep 14, 2021 · That's how I got a lot of PS1 games that aren't officially on PSP or Vita on my Vita. The Crash and Spyro games are compatible in Europe and incompatible in North America.

Jun 29, 2015 · New Vita owner here. To my great dismay I can't play any of the Crash Bandicoot or Spyro games available on PSN. They work on PSP just fine... but what gives? Is it a licensing issue? Compatibility?

On the JPN store you can even buy Crash direct from your vita. But then you'll have to switch your Vita account to JP region to play it so it's not the best solution.
