May 4, 2015 · When you run a circle mill for a farm show with members tractors you just open the throttle and saw with the speed you got . The best I can get out of the 80 HP steam tractor is about 525 . NO I am not going to re hammer the saw .

It cuts a path in line with the movement of the carriage feed.

Aug 5, 2015 · Chris, I run a circle saw down in A us and also been on a Lucas 11 years. By the sound of it, with the maple not being flat on the carriage, as the blade has cut through it, the log has been pulled down onto the carriage and this has caused friction on your blade. If my blades get hot to touch, then asawdoctoring they go.

Feb 3, 2015 · If I were into making a mill, home version, I would do some you tube searching, bout anything is possible, I will say, I too thought a buzz blade was for cross cuts, so the topic title is a bit misleading to me, you did mention circular saw blade so I reckon this is what you are starting with, I say grab some iron, torches, a welder and get ready for some head scratching ;D

Nov 28, 2017 · This question is geared towards the Mobile Dimension saw users and also stationary circle mill guys too. I have a mobile dimension saw. It uses a #3 insert tooth for all blades. Its my belief that MD is the only MFGer left using this tooth. There is only ONE source for teeth in a #3 (simonds).
