OUTDOOR EXHIBITS - Cave Creek Museum
The grounds of the Cave Creek Museum is home to a variety of native Sonoran Desert vegetation. Visitors will find specimens of creosote bush, blue sage, barrel cactus, prickly pear, palo verde and the ever-majestic saguaro.
History of the Cave Creek Museum
The Cave Creek Museum is housed in a rustic Southwest style building on the west base of Black Mountain. The history of the area is alive with ancient settlements of Native people and traces of early settlers moving West.

A visit to the Cave Creek Museum’s History Wing is a capsule across time between 1863 to present day. The exhibits will introduce you to artifacts from Cave Creek Mining District’s early days and a selection of its most unique characters.
