Oct 28, 2022 · Firstly, the standard injectors on the bxe engine are 425cc - not big enough for a hybrid turbo. A stock bv39 will max them out at about 125wkw (Durban climate). Secondly, hybrid bv39 turbos are unstable. They can produce like 150kw but boost control gets abit wonky.

These turbos are capable of 200hp with the right supporting mods. They are a very good daily turbo with near stock spool. We Recommend PD150 head bolts, uprated clutch, 3 bar MAP sensor and a Braided oil feed to go with this hybrid turbo to get full potential.
