As part of the Club's 100th year in the VFL/AFL celebrations, a commemorative logo was unveiled to replace the existing logo for 2025. Bringing together designs across the Club's history, it will feature on AFL and AFLW playing guernseys, licensed products and the Club's digital platforms throughout the season.

Oct 2, 2024 · Western Bulldogs CEO Ameet Bains has announced plans to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Club's entry into elite competition next year. As part of his address at the Charles Sutton Medal ceremony, Bains unveiled a commemorative logo which will replace the Club’s existing one in 2025.

Nov 1, 2024 · Since 1935, the Bulldogs logo has undergone a number of iterations and changes, with the Club intent on tying together three of the most iconic logos of the past as we commemorate our 90th year in the top grade.

The Club is working hard with our committed partners, including the City of Ballarat and the Victorian State Government, to not only bring AFL and AFLW Premiership games to the region, but to also deliver a range of community engagement, schools and football programs locally.

This page only shows primary logo variants. In late 1996, the club changed its playing name to the Western Bulldogs to market the club more broadly, specifically the western suburbs of Melbourne. Community content is available under CC-BY-SA unless otherwise noted.

Although the team officially trades under the name "Western Bulldogs", the initials "F.F.C." for Footscray Football Club, which still remains the club's official name, are placed on the front of the jumper beneath the sponsor's logo in small blue capital letters.

Nov 16, 2024 · The Bulldogs implemented a shield-style emblem in 2015, reflecting their guernsey design with the red and white hoops over a blue base, with a full-body bulldog at the forefront of the logo. It replaced what is now an iconic design known as the 'Robo-Dog', which was on the Bulldogs' oval-shaped logo between 1999 and 2014.

The design is made up of the current Bulldog from the 2010 logo, along with the circular badge from the 1978 design. The inaugural club insignia sits proudly at the centre of the design, whilst the banner includes the foundation year and 2025.
