Jun 25, 2012 · As to which is the best for the money, that's a tough question. All the major manufactures make a pretty good product, and generally the more expensive a rifle is the higher the quality. The Ruger M77/22 looks to be about the best quality .22 mag, but you'll pay for it.

May 24, 2016 · Personally I'd choose the longer barrel (22") for .22 mag because the .22 mag does get a bit more velocity from the slightly longer barrel. I have both lengths but it's entirely possible that difference could be attributed to 1 barrel being a bit "faster" than the other. It has more powder and the powder is slightly slower burning than .22 lr ammo.

Feb 20, 2016 · I've been reading on the net, a bit about the highest velocity .22 wmr. Seems none is touching 2000 fps with 40 grain bullet as was the original spec and advertised velocity. RWS .40 grain rounds were doing over 2000 fps but they cut the loading back, at some point as the others did, in the nineties.

Jan 5, 2022 · Which by the way is the same as the Rossi and Mossberg .22 WMR. but with that part removed it does look as if the Rossi 10 round mag may work. Ill be home in 15 days and I will let you know. I do not know if it can be removed as of yet as I travel for work.

May 17, 2012 · $425 + tax at my LGS .Many .22 mags will not be as accurate as ,say a 17hmr or a .22lr shooting good match ammo BUT try different .22mag loads to find the one it likes best. You may find the V-max bullets work best but gota try them to real know.
