Nov 25, 2005 · After some research I think I've narrowed it down to one of two pipes: (1) Neptune Y-Pipe from Andrew or (2) Sebring R 1150 R/Rockster/R 1150 GS/Adventure Cat. Eliminator Pipe from Sierra BMW (considerably cheaper than TT).

May 14, 2020 · Remove the silencer on an 1150 and replace it with a length of bent pipe to deflect the exhaust gases from your boot & the tire. Any muffler shop could bend a suitable pipe out of their leftover or scrap pile for the price of a beer - donuts are a great bribe in most shops, btw.

Mar 28, 2006 · Removing the cat and stock exhaust will only make the burping / farting sound louder.. if you want more power, you need to get a different bike. In addition to the kewler sound, my Remus full exhaust gives a somewhat better performance over the stock.

Sep 29, 2023 · The resonator box is almost certainly tuned to the engine characteristics BMW wanted and the ignition/fuelling will have been set up taking account of the stock exhaust system.
