Oct 31, 2020 · I have a ‘19 1250GS HP with Vario’s. I’d previously used various BMW luggage systems (GSA OEM Aluminum, BMW Clamshell type, soft luggage). First time with Vario's. Like you said, very clean with bags removed. The top case and non-exhaust side case will hold a full size helmet with room to spare when expanded.

May 9, 2023 · I’m looking at purchasing a r1250 GS Adventure, and I am after some info regarding the seat heights on the different variants. I’m a tall piece of timber, at 6’5. I love the look of the Rallye X “low bench seat”, but have been told it sits between 850-870mm high.

Apr 15, 2020 · I've got the Touratech Low's (~20mm/0.8") drop on my 1200GS and I love 'em (same pegs fit the 1250). The drop's enough to help my knees, but not quite enough to be an issue scraping them (My boots? Yes. But not the pegs). They're grippy as well, so I've had no issues off-road.

Aug 14, 2008 · Thanks for quick reply. I don’t understand why there is no documentation for like in kind replacement for the 1250 gs. JP cycles fitment chart for Yuasa ytx14–bs says doesn’t fit. Beemer bone yard says no fit for there batteries. The link you list above some people mention zero gravity’s but no one is listing battery model numbers that fit.

Feb 26, 2021 · 29" inseam, standard GS as well. Ridden a standard-height GSA too. Left toe on the ground, right foot on the rear brake. Years of riding dirt bikes with a 38" seat height, so the 33.5" seat on the GS feels super-low. Me, on a Super Adventure R - 35" seat height: Don't let anyone tell you you *need* to flat-foot a bike.

Jan 28, 2022 · Here are some pics. It fits the GS perfect. The Pro Trial bag. The daypack shown on my Tenere is also a perfect fit. I just need more room when I do long trips. I was stopped in Texas by a cop last year before I had my tank bag and he suggested a tank bag for my gun being is access. LOL. Go figure.
